This treatment is most effective when combined with a restricted intake of sugary drinks and snacks and fluoride application. The procedure to apply these sealants is often quick and painless.

Gum recession can lead to exposure of the root surfaces, which may be sensitive to cold and cause a painful response when touched by cold substances. We offer advice and treatments (coatings) to reduce pain associated with exposed root surfaces.
